Got my little sewing tote done around the middle of the month, in time for the DC Modern Quilt Guild meeting. It isn't pretty around the top binding, but it works, it's functional. And kinda cute. I'll keep it.
My March goal for finishing is my Bonnie Hunter Easy Street quilt. I'm in the midst of quilting it on my machine, so I've got a ways to go to finish the quilting, then trim it up and bind it. It's coming along nicely and I think it's doable to have it done by the end of March.
Here it is in progress. (it's nickname is clown car because it's so bright and busy)
Oh how great! A finish and a goal. Make sure to link up this same post tomorrow so you can be in for next month's prizes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up sweetie
Thank you for hosting the party, Shanna!
DeleteI wouldn't call it a clown car at all :) There are so many neutrals to smooth out all the bright color. I love it and I can't wait to see it again, but quilted!
ReplyDeleteI'm taking the night off, but I work on it most days. The quilting is rough on my shoulders and back, so it's good to rest tonight. Hopefully I'll get most of the quilting done in the next week or two. I'm also catching up on my blog reading so I'll need to pop by yours and see what's up.
DeleteA lovely little sewing tote, I need to make one of those some day.
ReplyDeleteMara, I was fortunate that our quilt guild made these together, or it would never have gotten made! The design is "Pockets to go" by Atkinson designs. Have fun!
DeleteYour bag looks great. Just perfect to stay organized on the go.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nancy.
