This is my second quilt, which I love. After my first quilt, I wanted to go with something for which there was a pattern, which had relatively simple construction and large blocks. I chose a pattern from a Kaffe Fasset book, Quilt Romance. I love the geometry of it, and also the bright happy colors. I did a fairly simple quilting in the ditch and a 4 petal pattern in the plain blocks. I may go back and do some more quilting. I envision going back into the petal shapes and quilting a design like the veins of a leaf. It makes me so happy to see this quilt on my bed and to sleep under it every night, I feel like I'm spoiling myself.
WOW! Very, very beautiful! You just can't appreciate it as much when it's on the bed!
