finished but not for me...

I got this done while my sis was out of town and decided to give it to her for her birthday.

Here are some blocks on the design wall that I helped a friend make. He doesn't like the flashy colors like I do.

Here's a block I made for a quilt to be given to a family having troubles:
 
And now I'm trying to put together a block or three for the QuiltCon quilts, but I'm not feeling terribly inspired. Maybe more fooling around with fabric and I'll get there.
Today I celebrate one year without a cigarette!  I wish it wasn't still difficult, but I'm glad to have persevered even though it is.

  1. I love the colors and shapes in the last bit for the family having troubles! Sounds like a title and the design looks like a symphony. I am 11 years away from my last cigarette and I know that the first year mark is a great feeling! Congratulations keep going it gets better all the time.
