Almost Thanksgiving

I've got some pumpkin bread and a German chocolate cake to make for our family get together. That'll probably be Wednesday night/Thursday morning, because why have any kind of Plan B in case of a baking disaster, right?

I finished a couple of blocks for my quilt bee and they turned out fun. These are wonky pinwheels from a tutorial here:

They're a little busy up close, but seeing them smaller like this, they seem to have a sort of jewel-like quality. Sparkly! I like them.

    Those blocks are amazing! I've seen wonky pinwheels lots of times, and yours are really impressive.
